A Basket by the Door EYBD Promotion
April 2, 2019 by Jenny
I knew I would enjoy the book before I even cracked open the
cover from the title alone: recipes for comforting gifts and joyful
gatherings. Perhaps it is the optimist buried deep inside me that
longs for the time to create beautiful gifts and load them up into
a welcoming bundle. A Basket by the
Door contains the inspiration I need to take more care
when gifting food and put aside those dull plastic
containers.
Recipes are shared for picnics, dinner parties and gifting as well
as lovely tips for wrapping and sharing. Chutneys, scones, soups,
jams and full dinner offerings fill the pages. The photography is
stellar and plentiful with shots of the dishes, the author
and her family, and includes photographs of their gorgeous farm.
Everything about this book is inviting and will please every level
of cook.
Our
- Just a really good chocolate mousse
