Cookbook giveaway – In a French Kitchen
August 5, 2015 by Darcie
Even before
Susan Herrmann Loomis wrote her now-classic memoir, On Rue
Tatin, American readers have been compelled by books about the
French’s ease with cooking. With In
a French Kitchen, Loomis–an expat who long ago traded her
American grocery store for a bustling French farmer’s
market–demystifies in lively prose the seemingly effortless je
ne sais quoi behind a simple French meal.
Loomis graciously provided us with a substantial excerpt from the book, and you can find details on her book tour in the EYB World Calendar of Cookbook Events.
We’re delighted to offer two copies of In a French Kitchen to EYB Members in the United States. One of the entry options is to answer the following question in the comments section of this blog post:
What traditional French dish do you most enjoy making?
Please note that you must be signed into the Rafflecopter contest before posting the comment or your entry won’t be counted. Entries from non-Members or from Members outside the US will be discarded. If you are not already a Member, you can join at no cost. The contest ends September 2, 2015.
