    Babka! (I have made babka with chocolate-cinnamon filling and with almond filling from two different cookbooks. Many compliments for both versions.)

    How to decide? Either matzoh ball soup or rugelah. Though all the ones listed above are on my "how could I live without them" list 🙂

    To be honest…it's bagels. It may not be classified as a traditional "dish" but if I could eat a fresh bagel everyday I would die a happy woman.

    Those little potato pancake like thingies. What are they called? The lady across the street from me growing up used to make them. She put a dollop of cream on top. OMG….so good.

    So many and so hard to chose. It may be emotional, but I make my grandmothers roast chicken most Friday evenings. The smell of garlic and paprika as it cooks just gets you hungry for a good meal. Goes great with a parve noodle pudding and beautiful vegetables of the season.

    Gefilte Fish………especially when I used to make my own, much to my family's displeasure at the smells wafting through the house when first making the fish broth!!!
